From contemporary to Mediterranean, Cody provides invaluable insight in designing for Costa Rica's climate considerations, the specifics of your build site, and value engineering. Exquisite client homes have been accomplished working with exceptional Architects including Costa Rican Mauricio Mora, LA based SYARC grad LA Tony Unruh, Virginia based MIT grad Kevin Ruedisueli, Argentinian Firm Estudio Ramos, and Canadian based Vesna Molby.
Cody and his dedicated team have built Oceanfront homes, pools, driveways and decorative concrete flat-work in Rancho Playa Negra and Hacienda Pinilla, mountain and ocean view residences in Black Stallion Hills (minutes south of Tamarindo) and Playa Blanca (Junquillal). Light commercial applications include 1085 Boutique Hotel in Playa Avellanas, and the La Dulce Vida Concierge Center in Hacienda Pinilla. Your vision can be achieved on any scale.
Detail oriented, LEED AP Certified, and possessing an in-depth understanding of structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering; Cody has been teaching and leading his teams in creating custom homes in Guanacaste since 2005.

Many crew members have been under Cody's tutilage for 15 years, providing stability to their family's lives, and to our client's project. Cody is well practiced in navigating Costa Rica's building, permitting and Environmental Satena D1,D2 processes. In additon to his building experience, Cody's holds a degree in Construction Management, Cal Poly School of Architecture and Environmental Design, San Luis Obispo, and his commercial building background, as a former Principal at DayStar Builders, is invaluable.
Specialized knowledge and years of building Ocean Front homes means that Cody and his teams create structures that are modified at every stage of construction to endure Guanacaste's diverse seasonal elements and seismic considerations. Cody's greatest pleasure outside of building homes, is being a family man with his wife of 21 years, Sunshine, and their 2 adventurous young daughters. The family's favorite past-time is riding horses together.
